Job Description:

As Program Manager, work closely within a (team environment) and assist the Sales and Engineering departments. Some of these activities include: assist the Account Managers, Engineering, and Launch Management teams in launch and pre-launch support activities of new programs and existing programs. Interface with the customer on key program timing issues.  APQP activities.  Manage product development from cradle to grave (design to product launch).  Costing and cost improvement.  Continued direct communication with the customer during processes.  Interface with upcoming and potentially new awarded business orders.  Strong interface between Operations Mgmt at plant levels.  Other responsibilities will be added as you gain more exp. with the product line.

Must Have:

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years experience in Program Management, Project Engineering, or Sales
Tier 1 Automotive exp. (MUST HAVE)
Customer experience with Ford, Chrysler, Honda, or Mercedes (MUST HAVE)
APQP knowledge
Strong Organizational and Prioritizing skills
Strong project management skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities: (General Outline)
Work closely with key manufacturing management to modify or develop new manufacturing processes and/or procedures.
Identify and specify new facility requirements and modifications/expansions to current plants.
Identify and specify machinery and new tools / equipment requirements
Be part of manufacturing team to help develop and refine plant layouts for optimization of material flow and equipment utilization.
Develop new equipment and equipment suppliers.
Work with Program Management Engineering on new/future manufacturing processes.
Coordinate specific projects; time lines, cost tracking.
Direct and oversee plant engineers at key times on projects/programs.

Must Have:
